         2010 INDIANA STATE FAIR WILD GAME COOKOUT

       Our thanks to Justin, Josh & Bill for bringing the kids out.  From the
smiles on their faces it looked like they caught lots of fish and had a great time.

View across small pond.                     The top of the hill had to have some rock dynamited.

Wheatie Brock breaks the side out of the small pond and the water rushes to the deep end of the new lake.

                    Several weeks later, the water from the small pond is still being held in the new lake.

Sept 11th had a good rain.  Lake appears to have rose 1 to 2 foot.

       
Jan 3, 2009 Lake appears to be at least 1/2 full.

     
The lake is full by end of May.

       
Stocked the lake on July 10,2009.   Lake stocked with 2000 Hybrid Bluegills,
200 Red Ears, 200 Bass, 200 Bluegills, 15 KOI, 200 Catfish and 20 lb minnows. 5 Albino
Catfish (have 50 more coming)
DUE TO DISEASE DO NOT DUMP MINNOWS OR RELEASE ANY
FISH FROM OTHER WATERS INTO OUR LAKE.  LARGE FISH
WOULD DECIMATE WHAT WE HAVE RELEASED. 

 ENTER THE CLUB GROUNDS NOW AND TRAVEL TO THE BACK
ACRES WITH US.  LET THE KIDS BRING 4 OR 5 SLICES OF BREAD,
OR BETTER YET BUY A BAG OF FISH FOOD AND BRING SOME DOWN
WITH YOU, AND THEY CAN FEED THE FISH WHILE YOU ENJOY JUST
BEING THERE.

   

Enter the club and travel back.

When you round the last curve this is what you will see.

As night settles in the lake is beautiful.  We have some information signs up.

like the lake also.                                       July 10th are already making beds.

WORK MOVING THE DIRT FROM THE BACK ACRES TO THE
PRACTICE RANGE BEGINS.

With the loan of Dale Baldwin's trucks and Curt Day's back hoe, the dirt pile begins its trip
to the practice range.

When we get all the fill dirt moved, we will be shooting away from the road, parallel with
our property line.  No more arrows onto and across the road, we hope.

     WATCH FOR MORE PIC'S AS THE WORK CONTINUES.

And the truck returns for another load.
